Our School

Mary Immaculate English Medium School was established in 1962.Mary Immaculate was built under Catechist Sisters of Mary Immaculate Help of Christian society. It exclusively is a Minority Educational Institution within the meaning of section 2(g) of the National commission for Minority Educational Institutions Act 2004. It is a Christian minority institution, covered under article 30 of the Constitution of India. Lessons on moral principles and conduct are given to students, irrespective of caste or creed. The School is recognized by the Education Department of West Bengal and is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi (School code WB005) for The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and the Indian School Certificate (ISC).

The aim of the institution is to impart a sound value based education by forming in the students habits of piety, virtue, discipline and self-reliance during the years of their studies, thus enabling them to be dutiful and useful citizens of our motherland, India. We seek to form the students through education, into persons of character, competence, compassion and committed who will foster uprightness in public life.
