Disimissal & Withdrawal

Before withdrawing a student from the school, a month’s notice is to be given or a month’s fee in lieu of notice.

The Transfer Certificate will be issued only on receipt of a written application signed by both the parents and personally handed over to Principal by the parents of the student. No Certificate will be issued until all dues to the school have been paid in full.

The Transfer Certificate will cost Rs 50/- Any T.C. that goes out of the state of West Bengal has to be countersigned by the CISCE Office and fee of Rs 100 will be charged, for the extra expense for this service.

Notwithstanding anything in the Prospectus, the Principal may, at her absolute discretion request any parent at any time to take his/her ward out of the school. As a rule, a boy/girl who is dismissed/taken Transfer Certificate is not re-admitted.

ISC student must follow exactly the same pattern of discipline as the students of the rest of the school. Failure to maintain that tone of conduct and discipline expected of senior students according to the traditional norms of the school will be sufficient for dismissal at any time.

Any student failing two year in succession in the same class or failing twice in three consecutive years, will have their names struck off from the register , and a transfer certificate will be granted.

The school reserves to itself the right to dismiss students whose diligence or progress in studies is steadily unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students or whose guardians show little interest in the progress of their wards. Irregular attendance, habitual want of application, insubordination, disrespect to any teacher, disrespect to any religion or community, any kind of cheating or serious misconduct even outside the school premises, any habit or behavior objectionable to the good name of the school is sufficient for the dismissal of a pupil.

The principal’s decision is final in all cases of dismissal or withdrawal.
